8U Practice Plans

8U practices are very similar to 6U in that teaching basic skill development in an exciting way is the top priority. At this age we introduce weekly cross-ice games and include more small area games during practices. All players are encouraged to try their luck in goal but full time goalies are discouraged at this age to continue their skating development.
